So I got a Diamond Mako used for a crazy low price, but it seemed to be missing the power supply. After using a universal of the same voltage/amperage, I tried charging. Greenlight comes on, no red light. Try powering on... nothing. Where do I begin troubleshooting, or can I just assume this unit is dead, dead, dead?

Try plugging in and unplugging the power supply lead until you are able to get a red light to come up. YOu may need to repeat it like 8 times or so. If that does not help, try leaving the set on for 48 hrs and see if the internal battery take charges. If the Mako is not able to operate without the AC power supply after that 48 hrs charging on green light, it could mean that the battery is dead. You just have to change it.
Quite simple to do so - just do a search in this forum.
