I had sent an e-mail to EZgallery about the way I feel I have been mislead in my purchase of the netbook from their auction. They have replied but I think they have tried to dodge the questions I asked.
Here is their reply see what you think

Hi

There was no intention to mislead. We are referring to Psion latest product, the Netbook, comparing to Series 5 or 7, not the latest OS nor firmware. As per Psion official website, there is only one latest model, the Netbook. We were not aware of any hardware/software differences in Netbook nor being notified about the issue from the supplier. Should you specifically needs the OS version and firmware version, you should inquiry to us before completing the auction.

And as stated it is OEM version which does not provide warranty card. The item has not been used, it is new when we shipped to you hence Psion should warranty you.

I hope the above mentioned satisfied your doubts.

Best Regards
Jeff

Not what had hoped for but it works so I shall keep using what is a great machine. Lets just hope Psion come up with a way to sort out this bootloader problem.

I'm not sure what else they could say and whatever it would be it's highly unlikely that he'd give a full refund and pay return shipping costs! But through your complaint he now knows we, the Psion users of the world, are not easily fooled!!! Maybe as a result his prices will drop further! Having said that if a solution to the OS issue is found there may be a sudden rise in demand and therefore price!!

Thanks for the feedback Gary.

Definitely dodging the issue, and the upgradeability claim is still not addressed.
