I am putting the final touches on a website that shows local NEXRAD radar imagery for the Central Texas area...
I would appreciate any input on how this looks on Treo's like the 300...
...and of course, any input on additions.

Thanks

Just checked it out on my Trio 300. It loads fast, and looks good. The map corresponds to what Weather.com shows me on my desktop, so I think the content's right, although right now the map is pretty much empty. One recommendation, if I'm going to use this for my weather site, I'd like to also see a temperature / humidity info bar somewhere. Just as a little bit of added info. Otherwise, very nice, and now bookmarked ;).

I had a link to data from our weathernet, but the server for that system (not ours) doesn't seem to work well (occasional errors). I am thinking about a few other options and will try to have something by tomorrow.
Thanks for the input.

About time someone local gets on the ball, here in Ausitn,Texas! Kudos!
I can access it quick w/ my treo300. The first page load in about 2 sec (were it asks what you if your Palm or PovketPC..) The second page loads as quickly too. I was able to pull of all three radars, however there is no activity on them. Are you still workin on the site?
Thanks, Matt Burkhard

I work on them almost every day... I have plans to add all the data on the pocketpc site the palm site. I am toying around with some satellite imagery as well as adding forecast data.
Thanks,

Man that was a quick reply!
Shawn,
So not seeing any imagery on the page is normal because you are still workin on it? By imagery, I mean the graffics for cloud, rain and such. I can see the image of radar location as well as the current time, just no info other then that. Will there be colors like on KXAN site were there is green for rain ETC.
Once again thanks for putting this togather and sorry for all the questions.
Regards, matt burkahrd

Oh, sorry I see what you mean... no maps will only show actual rain, but not clouds... that's forthcoming.
