I use my GPS 10 with CitySelect V6 detailed mapping software on my i730 phone. It is running under Windows mobile 2003. Que software is updated to 2.7.

When routing to a location many times the unit calculates and draws the highlighted route fine but then does not issue voice commands and the navigation info from the map screen also does not show the route information. The fields are there, just have no data. I try re calculating the route, turning it off and on, etc. Even when I hit "speak" I get nothing.

I have reloaded the software many times into all options, main memory, storage card and safestore.

Other times it works fine.
Anyone know what could be causing this?

TIA,
Steve.

I had to load the voice software separately to my PPC from the install disk, then I got the voice prompts. I forget where it was on the install disk, but it was one of the lower options.

OK, thanks I'll try reloading just the voice but I doubt it is my problem since it does work about half of the time. Also, when the voice doesnt work it also does not show any routing info on the map page except for the hi-lighted route.

Sounds like a good thing to try. Next time it happens I'll try it.
Thanks,
Steve.
