I have a netbook and a mako and would like to synchronise my contacts and agenda between them without having to synchronise through MS outlook ie. through the IR ports.

I use the netbook and mako for contact/agenda entry, so don't need a copy on the PC.

Have been trying to do it using outlook as an intermidiary, but have been having some problems. I've almost sorted these (though I'm not too sure about multiple to do lists, have to dive into the archives). Apart from that, the whole process would take about half an hour, netbook-PC, PC-mako, PC-netbook, and at some stage I know I'm going to end up getting the wrong entries deleted, the process will stop working etc.

I have seen some sync products that claim to work peer to peer. Has anyone had any success with these for both contacts and agenda, and can recommend anything specific.

BTW, my PC is running windows 2000.

Any help much appreciated !!

Brad,

As far as I know there is no direct way to synchronise data between two Psion devices apart from using something like Outlook as you are now doing. However there is an application called EpocSync (http://www.freepoc.org/EpocSync.htm) that will synchronise files between two Psions. This should solve your problem as long as you are only working on one machine at a time (ie you are not editing the Agenda file on both devices before you decide to sync them). Anyway, have a look at the site and see what you think.

I've used EPOCSync very successfully, but I'd advise keeping a small list of files to synchronise - it tends to bomb out when trying to transfer deep folder trees of files.
