I had a strange installation on my PC of the software for the iQue M3* so I may not have all the programs.
When I use Map Install to put maps on an SD card, I have a little window down at the bottom which allows me to choose from 2 or more sources. However, if I am trying to install from 2 sources, the pink 'selected' areas don't stay highlighted and maps only from the later selection are installed. Is this normal behavior and I'm stuck using more than one SD card for maps from different sources?
When I put an SD card in the M3, Windows Media Player pops up and asks to scan the card for movies and music. How do I turn this behavior off?
I have only Map Install on my computer. The support person mentioned another program that I should see before she signed off (with the assumption all would go well). Is there supposed to be a Map Source installed?
*I don't have a DVD player on the computer, so I copied the DVD to my Mac and then transferred the files over to the PC - the install did not go as plan (no surprise), and the support people ran it by hand for me of the Internet, but it still may not be correct. I have no clue. The M3 was a Christmas gift, and I'm enjoying the GPS part of it greatly.
