Zire 72 whine and clockspeed.

How do you rid the Zire 72 of that high pitched screen whine? I'm developing high frequency deafness.

Anyone using sharkclocker freeware? Thoughts? What is "Change via DA?" in the right upper corner?

Try using warpSpeed (http://www.palmpowerups.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=3) or Lightspeed (http://www.clievideo.com/default.asp?item=3&intProductID=3) to remove screen whine.

Screen whine is a hardware issue. It's caused by the digitiser and LCD pressing against each other and causing a high pitch whine. There is a physical way to fix this but requires opening up the screen. Please check out my screne repair guide.
