Versa Mail 2.0 plugin for JPEGS

For those of you that are using Versa Mail that comes with the TT I have a question for you. There apparently is a problem with viewing JPEGs that are received via email while in the Versa Mail program. Palm has provided an download from their website which is supposed to allow JPEG to be viewed while in Versa Mail... I have downloaded this upgrade but still am not able to view JPEG while in the program. No I know that this is not the end of the world because you can save the JPEG to SD and view them in another program, but I want to know if the upgrade has worked for anyone else.

There are several programs that will allow you to read JPEGs from SD. I use SplashPhoto.:D

Splashphoto is indeed value for money...works great too...!

If the JPEG is 50k or 25K you can not view in w/ V-mail???

What the update does is allow the plugin manager to send Jpeg attachments to Palm's included Tungsten|T photoviewer: Photobase.

When I installed Photobase, jpg attachments were correctly handled by the plugin manager. However, I found the viewer horribly slow compared to other ARM optimized apps like SplashPhoto so I ditched it.

I just wish that you could configure the plugin manager to launch the app of your choice...

Well then... that explains it. Thanks for the info... I too use Splashphoto. Its a great program and really fast.
