Alrighty, I just got my M5 and I am completely in love with the thing. I have installed the Ambicom card and have awesome results when I can track down a stable network.

But here be the question: Are there any known tools that can successfully combine both WiFi network scanning, for war driving, with the built in GPS receiver??? All software I have found thus far (WiFiFoFum, QoS Scanner, MiniStumbler) require the GPS be attached via a COM port... Hmmm. This is clearly not the case with any of the Garmin PDA's...

So, anyone got the answer to this one? I would LOVE to map out access point locations with lat and long!

Cheers!
John

Maybe there has been no response to my question because I am missing some basic info. Does the built-in gps receiver use a COM port and I just don't what port that is? I noticed that bluetooth apparently runs on COM ports 7 and 8 but I get no response when I try and open the other ports with WiFiFoFum, for example.
