I realize this is probably a very dumb question, but here goes.
I am new to PPC using a Maestro. I purchased an standard CF ethernet LAN card, in hopes of connecting to the Internet via a network at work. (I believe the ISP is a cable based service that is connected via a router to my office, where an ethernet cable is)
I know it works because I can just plug it into my laptop and surf away. When I try the same thing with PPC, I get the message :unable to connect using these settings" I have tried changing the settings to no avail. Interestingly, I can connect directly (via the PPC conected directly to the LAN) to the Avantgo server and update channels.
First, is this even possible? Is the some issue with standard webpages and the size?
I would perfer not to use a laptop in this prossess.
