I'm trying to enable VGA mode on my Axim X51v. I've tried SE_VGA and OZ_VGA, but they both are for Windows mobile 3.??, not 5. I tried them anyway, but they didn't work; in fact, OZ locked the PDA and required a hard reset.

Are there versions of these available for the X51?

Also, why isn't VGA mode supported directly by Windows?

Thanks; that got me going. Looks like there isn't yet a perfect solution for WM5, but this is close enough.

I wish Microsoft would just support switching modes. Or for that matter why doesn't Dell come out with its own utility to support the VGA mode it includes in its PDAs?
