Hi,

Just got myself a SJ-20 few months back. It's getting very frustrating having to reset almost everytime I use my CLIE. Does anybody know what causes this error? I only get it when I'm using/switching to Oxford Chinese Concise Dictionary (registered). Switch as in using EasyLaunch shortcut (usually from MemoPad). I even tried uninstalling all hacks including X-Master but i still get the error, just not as frequent.

I suspect it's a software bug by now so also posted to the developer. I'd appreciate any knowledge anybody out there has about this particular error being new to the palmOS as I am.

Thanks.

I suppose you could call it a bug but I'd call it a programmer error.

hi,

I eventually gave up trying to figure it out. A friend of mine suggested setting up a Palm OS simulator on my PC but this doesn't seem to be something straightforward for Clie's. Anyway, eventually I did a hard reset, reinstalled all apps one-by-one and don't get this error anymore. Weird.

I deleted the application Wassup (version 1.4.4) and it no longer happens???

Sometimes I hate my handheld!
