Hello to all forum members and visitors from a newbie.
If you are like me that uses Microsoft PCs for Work but fine Apple machines for pleasure, and also have a couple of the nice -though a bit troublesome- Garmin GPS Receivers/PDAs, then I bet you will like this;
It seems that garmin announced Yesterday that they will finally add support for MAC OS X operating system... More specifically, they will rewrite nRoute (to use as an iBook/Powerbook navigation tool) and MapSource (to load the maps to PDAs). They don't give any specific dates, rather "end of 2006".
Still, thumps up, this is good news, better late than never, they have listened, etc. etc.. A bit late for Christmass present but it feels like one :)
You can read the full article at: http://www.garmin.com/pressroom/corporate/011006.html
Cheers
