re Garmin Etrex Vista

Hi

I have a four year old model and find the accuracy, at least in the forest is marginal. Say eastings are out twenty meters! Northings work reasonably well.
I do get fairly good results with a decent opening to the sky. And I use only the best almanac window.
Any comments on tweaking this receiver or is age setting in?
