Help 3630 stuck at reset point

My 3630 is stuck at the reset point. From another thread I tried resetting after holding down the joystick and got a lovely picture of a bird. Can anyone tell me whats happened and if I can fix it.

That's a ROM update mode. If soft reset does not get you out of it, you will have to do hard reset. Just open the little battery door at the bottom of the unit next to the sync connector and flip the little battery switch off and on again.
