I went from a palm to an hp 548 and now a Zuarus 5500. I have tried averything to play a movie on my hp548 with about 8 frames a second results and very tin like audio. What a huge upgrade playing divx with near perfect frame rates and 128k stereo audio. Plus network play back of existing rips wow! I love my Zuarus>

How were you able to play Divx files? I have yet to purchase a Zaurus, but it was my understanding that the format was not supported...

tkcVideo is a multi-format video playback application for the Sharp Zaurus, making the Zaurus the worlds first portable Mpeg4 player. Because Mpeg4 encoded files allow the use of lower bitrates with the same quality, it is possible to encode more than 1 hour of 320x240 (the Zaurus screen resolution) Mpeg4 video to a 128mb Compact Flash card.
