I downloaded and thought I successfully updated Parens Lite to 1.5 so that I'm able to use the trig functions ect but no luck. Any suggstions as to what I may have done wrong?

Jollyroger,

One thing that I can think of is the "Mathlib.prc" file. If you did not load that on your Palm the tirg functions will not be available. Check you file listing and see if you have that file loaded on your Palm and if not you must load it through a hotsync and that should take care of the problem.

Hope that this helps & have a nice day,

I installled mathlib, and still no trig or any of the other features 1.5 should have; weight, temp, volume, stats, logic ect. I'm still at a loss. Anything else?. Now I have had my M500 about a month and didi I need to register Parens lite? I see where they aren't taking registrations anymore.

Jollyroger,

I have not used Parens for some time now as I switched to MegaCalc. I just looked at my Parens file and the file name is "ParensML.prc". Does that match your Parens file? They also have a file in the zip called "ParensSA.prc" and it states that this file does not have the trig funcitons. Make sure you have installed just the "ParensML.prc" & "Mathlib.prc", if that does not work then I do not know what else to tell you.

Hope that this works for you & have a good day,
Calvados

Thanks for all your help. However, how do I check my files in my palm to confirm that these are the ones I have?

I just look and all is well. I was still going into parens lite! Parens 1.5 was in the unfiled catergory. Put it in the main. Now can I delete parens lite or must I keep it? Thanks for your help

Jolyyroger,

You should be able to delete the lite version without any ill effects.
