Installing a 4gb hitashi microdrive in Axim X50v

I just got my x50v and got a hitashi 4gb microdrive to go with it. I'm currently running windows mobile 5.0 and whenever i slap in the drive, it asks me for the name of the device driver for the card. I'm not sure what to do in this case, if anyone has installed a hitashi microdrive in their axim, any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried soft reset while the drive is in?
If that does not work then where did you get that drive? The reason i ask is that there are drives that were removed from mp3 players and sold on Ebay or OEM drives, many of those will not work on pocketpc.

i got it on ebay at a store called ipod depot, it has an apple symbol on it, and taking into affect the name of the ebay store, i believe I may be up $%@# creek without a paddle.
