Hi,

Whenever I try to open an app file from within the application (excel, Word. Streets and Trips, ect) I can only get to folders that are in my Ipaq,s memory (RAM). I can't access files that are on my storage card. There must be an startup file somewhere that tells the applications what folders to look in. If I go explorer and go to the folder that has a data file on my storage card that I want to work on and double click it, the application will open it and I can work on that file.

So, how can I tell my ipaq 5455/w2003SE where to look when I open an application? Startup file? registry setting?

Ipaq 5455
W2003
1GB SD storage card
Resco file explorer

Create My Documents folder on the storage card and put those files in it.

Duh, that did it. I guess that if you save a file under anything other than the My Documents folder then you can't access it from an application. I have been working with PC's to long to break the habbit. My last PDA was a HP 200LX palmtop which I reluctently gave up for an ipaq. They had a great calculator feature (solver) that I still use at work. I would love to find a PDA replacement for it.

Thank's for your help.
