Does anyone have any suggestions regarding programs capable of editing ebooks (.pdb format) directly on the PDA? Project Gutenberg is a great source of texts, BUT...the number of gratuitous linebreaks is enormous. Have edited the files using MSWord find/replace, but I find that in some cases (tables, quotes where there are not two line breaks to mark the end of a paragraph), the formatting gets messed up. The ability to simply add line breaks where needed is all that I need. Thanks!

PS I already have DTG5 - I am looking for something that would be compatible with PalmReader so that I can share the files as ebooks when I have finished reading them. THanks -

Try wordsmith, it is a very good text manager for palm, covering memos, pdb(palm ebooks), and word files. It can edit any of these, as well as giving you many fun options to play with. Cheers
