I just got the SP1 for pocket PC 2002. Will it erase all of my data like a hard reset would? The website didn't really say yes or no.

If that's the case, you don't need to hard reset the ipaq, therefore you will not lose anything, just read and follow the instruction carefully.

I installed EUU3 on a 3970 with no problems; the new WMP is worth it (besides the bliss theme, I do not see any other changes). WMP 8.5 has better volume control (the reason I purchased, then discarded Snoopsoft Bananapc, and withMP3).
This is not as drastic an upgrade as a ROM upgrade.

I installed EUU3 and had really no problems with it. One helpful hint is to read through the documentation a few times prior to doing the insatll.
It really takes 10 minutes as opposed to the 2 minutes quoted to do the actual updating of the ROM.
