Hi,
I have bought an "hx2410" on ebay. OS: 2003 (2. edition),version 4.4.
It works great and is in very good shape.
The only part that came with it is the USB cable for charging (only when the computer is on) and to sync.
Seller says that it didn't come with the desktop cradle. I don't mind that but there is also no other accessory included.
HP website that shows this unit does not specify what is included when buying new.
I know that I can download Active Sync but I don't know if I need Outlook 2002 .
Can anybody tell me what is normally included with this iPAQ? :o

I do not have that model, but having investigated lots of iPaqs before buying, I would imagine: in terms of hardware, the desktop cradle, and some sort of battery recharger than can be used alone without the desktop. In terms of software: Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Contacts, Tasks, Pocket Internet Explorer, and I am not too sure what else. Only get Outlook if you really want it. I use web based email and do not mess with the configuring hassles of Outlook. Good luck!

You can see the detailed specification here;

You need Outlook if you want to sync your PIM (calendars, contacts, tasks, inbox,..) with the desktop.

Thanks for your advice. I have bookmarked the "Spec's" and will download and print the manual.
Have called HP and all other accessories are normally included. Will probably purchase some of those separately.
My next question:
I have the iPAQ 3630 and bought Outlook 2000 for it some time ago.
Could I still use Outlook 2000 with the new OS or do I have to upgrade to Outlook 2002? :)

You can still use Outlook 2000. You don't have to update unless you want to. It is recommended that you use activesync 3.8, but as long as everything is working, again you don't have to update if you don't want to.

Thanks Answer Dude!
It worked well without the upgrades. :)
