Okay, I scrolled through the other threads before posting, so my apologies if I missed my answer.

When I use the calendar and make a new appointment, The subject text block brings up a list of preset choices. Is there a way to add to those choices for what *I* commonly use or are they non-edit?

There is no way to do that with built-in pocket outlook, you'll need 3rd party PIM program such as Pocket Informant or Agenda Fusion.

I had a feeling you would say exactly that. Thanks for the suggested replacements, I'll keep it in mind should I find other features I don't like.
