Installed WiFi/Activesynch not working

Just installed a wifi card...works fine. When I put the ipaq in the cradle it now tries to dial up an internet connection. It worked fine befor the wifi. Am I doing something wrong?

My mistake....when installing the router cable,I disconnected the usb cable...sorry about the mistake.

Have you tried soft reset the ipaq? And check that USB is the selected method of connecting via the cradle connection on desktop activesync (Tools - Options).
