Today screen of the 5550

Does anyone know how to add more items to the Today screen and also I want to add the battery power option to the start menu?

You'll just need to install 3rd party Today Screen plugins (same way you install regular applications) and activate it. Many of these plugins are free and some are battery related, you can see a list here
