I have an M515 and may be experiencing SUDS? I recently travelled with my Palm and cradle to dry wintery Canada (?static). On returning home I was unable to establish a hotsync connection. The cradle words on another PC but not the Palm. I tried restarting the PC, reloading Palm desktop and the USB Driver software, did a hard reset on the Palm - nothing. The PC device manager does not show any Palm connection. Infrared syncing works but is very slow. I read a previous note about checking my registries, but I don't know how to do that. Also I cannot quite figure out how to do a battery drain shortcut. Now I need to decide whether to do without my Palm for a few weeks while it goes from the Middle East to the U.K. for warranty service, or just to live with infrared syncing. I would appreciate any advice - the M515 was supposed to be immune to SUDS, and my cradle has the famous E.

P.S. Is the Tungsten the answer? I use my Palm continuously for medical applications.
