A second-hand Zire 31 I've bought behaves pretty capriciously, for example:
the all-night charge lasts for somewhere between a few seconds and a few (2-4) hours
even if it lasts a few hours, it discharges even with non-use (ie. lying on a table in turned-off state)
usually refuses to start on power supply - giving blank black screen, sometimes with LCD backlight on, and doesn't react to any kind of reset (soft, hard, cradle)
The question is - should I look for a new battery or a new mainboard? Can anyone recommend a reliable/inexpensive source of each?
