My battery recently packed up causing me to lose all my data. I have replaced it with a new 2250mAh one. But when I tried to restore via the Microsoft ActiveSync I get the following error message
"Restore cannot be completed successfully. The selected backup file was created
from a different type of mobile device. For more information about possible
causes and solutions to this error message. click Help."
This is very puzzling because I am using the same machine.
I followed all the instructions for instance using the "Guest" synchronization.
Please Help!
