Hello, I am the proud recipient of a nearly unused Palm VIIx. My boss had it in a jacket pocket for nearly two years and just found it. He has "scaled down" to Visor now. He had discarded everything but the Palm itself. I have found all the software and manuals online, set it up, found a Belkin cable, and all it is all working well. I plan to get some Reader books sometime.

However, we are an hour from any wireless service, and in this economy/environment it may be years before we have any.

Is there any way to use the web clipping apps through a PC/HotSync? How about a wire\ess access point on our LAN router behind our cable internet access?

I think I have searched most of Palm's info and it looks like it is not feasible.

Thanks, Clayton

try Avantgo. After a quick and fairly painless registration, you can select from a list of web pages you would like to recieve each time you hotsync. If you sync first thing everyday, you will have more news and stuff than you can read in a day. also when it downloads the web content, it deletes the old stuff. give it a try
