I"ve been looking at viewing video files on my 3630. Apparently not so simple. I have PacketVideo on the ppc but it says I need to visit the website to activate. No good as the website no longer exists. So after scouring the posts on this site I found (as usual) someone has had this problem and some advice was available. However while I attempt what looks like what could be a traumatic but invaluable experience in converting files and installing a player from various websites I am quite happy to take the easy street and follow advice from anyone kind enough to offer. For the record I have a 3630 with an expansion packand a 512 mb Cf card. I'm pretty sure 2002 software is installed;I haven't upgraded or changed anything.Cheers guys. Any advice welcome.

TCPMP is probably the best video player right now

What type of video do you want to play, short download clips, full length movie? Are you willing to pay for software?

Thanx for the quick reply Dude. I'm quite happy to pay for software. File types would mainly clips copied from tv. This afternoon I followed a lot of links I found on anotherthread and downloaded a program from FairUse which I've used to rip video from a dvd however I'm still playing with it.I also looked into the Microsoft Movie Maker program and after fooling around found how to save a file to play on my ppc. That part of te problem seems sorted. I looked at tcpmp and am downloading a file called tcpmp.setup.0.71.exe. Hope its the right one as there were plenty to choose from. I'll soon find out
