Dell Axim X5

I would like to purchase one of these, but i live in the UK. Any ideas if its on sale over here or is it available for shipping to the UK?

Best bet I think is to find a friend in US who can buy it and ship it to you. Otherwise would be best to ask Dell themselves when and if they plan to sell to the UK.

I'm not sure, but I think one of the questions before ordering the Axim was whether you would export it (out of the U.S.) or not. I don't know if this implies that you are not supposed to or not. I chose the 'no' option, so I can't say for sure. Be certain before trying this. As for shipping these to the UK, you may want to find out if Dell ships anything there. If so, then they will likely ship the Axim.

Dell are supposed to be selling their PDA's in the UK and ASIA in Q1 2003. They are also supposed to be releasing a new model in Q2 2003 (to the US).
