Help, Please, Losing WIFI connection settings

This is becoming increasingly frustrating. EVERY time my ipaq shuts off, I need to reset up my wireless setting, shared wep key, with authorization. Pain in the neck. Why is it not saving these settings? Is there something I can do to make it?
