Hi guys, this is my first time entering this type of forum eventhoug I've been using PDA since 2003. I just had my Ipaq RX 3700 last year (The first one was stolen) Do you guys have ever experienced this, the touch pad is misaligned whenever the memory is low?

I did hard reset, everything go smooth.
I RESTORE from back up, it goes again. The touch pad couldn't detect.

Do you guys think it just because of virus?

Thank You.

I just got of the phone with hp. I have the same problem They want me to send it in.Mine froze up installing software.I think is a windows problem that affects the hardware. my screen is frozen but my active sync works fine? I think they should fix for free ! and have a recall.

Had the same problem with an IPaq2200. Leaving the battery out overnight and starting over resolved the problem. Seems to recur whenever it's away from its charger for more than a couple of days, despite the fact the battery still shows over 50% strength. Beats me, but after reading the above I reckon there's something wrong with all of them that they don't want to admit to.

So, guys. What's your solution? If HP can't do anything with it, I'll SWEAR THAT WAS THE LAST ONE FROM HP. :mad: And definitely WOULDN't RECOMMEND to others.

Been using other product before and never face this kinda problem.

Could we do hard reset and reinstall back the software?(from CD given)

You said in the first post that the problem went away after hard-reset but came back after restore. Perhaps there's software confict, you may want to reinstall 1 application at a time to see if you can find the software that cause problem. You can re-intall software through desktop activesync add/remove programs when you sync the ipaq.
There is also ROM update for your model, I don't know of it will help but you may also want to take a look;
