I have been trying, and it has been frustrating. It seems it will only do it if I have a Microsoft exchange server installed for around $1100 what the hell is the point.

Have you installed Intellisync from the iQue setup CD?

What calendar are you referring to? The Palm Desktop, Lotus Notes,...? The Palm Desktop is the default calendar but other calendars will require additional software to sync up.
