How can I transfer Sony Clie PEG-610C data to Zire72

Have an old Sony Clie PEG-610C that no longer syncs. Backed up data to a memory stick but PalmDesktop does not recognize the Palm Database files. Desktop is looking for .bak or archive file. Files copied to the memory stick are .pdb. Help, Zire is useless without my database. How can I transfer my data??

Palm support told me to look for those files or call Sony. Like Sony is gonna jump on supporting a 5 year old Clie. I suggested using "Quick Installer" and Palm support said it would not work.

So anyway, I did exactly what Palm Support said not to do and, of course, it worked great.

I copied the .PDB files (address/contacts/ToDo/Memo) to the Palm Quick Installer & hit Hot Sync.

All the databases in the Zire72 were updated with my Clie information and look perfect.

LOL - do not count on Palm (lack of) Support.
