Hi

I am trying to find out if there is a PDA which supports dial-up (all the new models offer wireless email only, it seems).

Application is for Charity workers in developing countries who want a PDA for email, but there is no wireless service, but they do have access to a phone line, so they can dial-up to a local ISP. A laptop would work, but they are bulky, batteries run out, and are a target for theft. So is there a PDA with a 56K modem, or can you buy a 56K modem separately which you can hook-up to a PDA ?

many thanks
Malc

OK, I have found a Pretec SDIO modem card which will do the trick (for an extra £60). I wonder if there are any PDA's which have a 56K modem already integrated .......
