music on palm

Ok, lets say I have a few cd's I like (which I do). Can I put them into my cd slot on my computer and somehow get them onto my palm? If so, what software do I need? What everything do I need? (Free is possible......have spent about 1500$ in the last couple of months on palms, software and accessories)

Yeah it should be possible for us to get some tunes downloaded to our palms soon. I'm assuming you have an up todate palm, tungsten or similar.

Real networks (creators of real player and realone player for windows) have teamed up with Helix to allow export of music files from desktop to palm.

Have no idea why this wasn't included in the box with a new tungsten. Can only assume that they meant for it to be but it wasn't finished in time for the tungsten's release.

Will probably cost a bit. Am not sure.

Suspect that this will not be the only one though. And it has been known to be a bit unstable on pocket PC devices......
