Help with white memory stick

I have a white 128mb memory stick for my NR 70 V. I have pictures and movie clips and audio. After a while my Clie beeps nonstop!! Anyone have the same problem!!??

Have you got the lastest software updates? There's a thread around here somewhere about it... If you want me to find it for you I'll dig it out... are you in US or Europe? Or even else where... yep that's right folks, there are other places outside of the US and Europe!!! :eek:

I am in the US.
But why would I need software? The Clie has a memory stick slot for just this purpose, right?

Stu is right, the non-stop beeping problem is a known software bug. Sony has a fix which you can install. The problem is not specific to the Magic Gate stick. There are several old threads which discuss this problem.

You need to go to the address below, and download the system update. There are detailed instructions there that will guide you through what you need to do. I've done it, and my NR70 works brilliantly now! :D You need the "CLIÉ Handheld System Update" ... it's the top option.
