Hello all,
If this is not the correct forum please move it. I recently bought a HP4705, WOW this thing is faster and has more memory with the 2 Gig SD card, than the computer I bought new in 1995 plus it fits in my pocket.

I have vacation photo's that I want to show on the pocket PC. So I renamed the Photo's in explorer and number them so that they were in the correct order. Then I ran it through Picasa2 (Google tool, allows you to resize the photo's) to shrink the files down to manigable size. Still in the correct order. After I move the file folder to the HP, via the Activate Sync, they are out of order and no longer sequential. Is there an easier way to accomplish my goal? Or is ther a way to keep the order 1,2,3,4...

Also is Powerpoint an option? I've found this software but if it won't do what I want I don't want to spend the bucks if there is a microsoft version included. The pictures are 1.5 meg ea. Huge file.

"IPAQ Image Viewer" has the ability to create a "slide show" (Show->Setup Show) where you select the pictures to include, the order to display, rotation if desired, Auto/Manual advance, zoom if desired

I copy the JPGs (2048x1600 ~1.5 meg) from the digital camera SD card onto CF card directly or through active sync (w/card reader) with no shrinking or resizing and the pics display great in the image viewer

I'm using the bundled HP image Zone v1.32.016 Dec 17 2004 that came bundled with the Ipaq. (Show-> Setup Show ) is not an option on this version. In tools you can set the time delay for scrolling through the images but not the order unless I'm missing something there. You can sort by Name , Date, Size, and Type. I'm set to name and my names are 1,2,3,4... Acsending or Desending are the other 2 options.

I erased the file and then recopied it to the Ipaq. Active Sync transfered in decending order based upon the first digit. So it started at 9, 8 , 7, 6, 5, 49,48,47... SO I remaned everything with a 101, 102, 103...
There is more than one way to skin a cat!

Thanks for your patience!

Once I have the picture installed, is there a trick to setting it as the desktop?
