Help Needed

Hi I am using Ipaq 3660 and have been given a flash jacket which the ipaq finds ok now I have bought a 64 meg flash card which the ipaq finds and asks if I want to format it I answer yes but all I get is a message on screen can not format error code 31 can any one help.The ipaq has the latest driver up dates

What operating system are you running? 2000 or 2k2? If it's 2000, what ROM version do you have? There were problems (that have now been fixed) with earlier 2000 ROMs in formating CF cards -- What happens if you try more than once (ie. does formating ever work?)

Hi I am using window xp on the desk top and the latest pocket pc 2002 on the Ipaq 3660

Have you tried to format the card more than once? Do you get the error "every" time? I suspect a poor connection between your sleeve and your iPAQ or perhaps a "less than perfect" connector where you are pluging in your CF card... I have had a similar problem when using a CF sleeve that came with one iPAQ on a different iPAQ -- It was like black magic -- it would work "sometimes" -- Don't think that I can help you with this one...
