hiya;
can anyone tell me how to change the background image on the "system" screen. i have tried transferring a jpeg image to the psion and selection it on the preferances screen, but no joy.
any help woul be appreciated.

Makoman,

First, to use a file as wallpaper, it must be saved as a .mbm file. PsiWin should be able to do this or use nConvert (www.neuon.com) on the Mako. Then create a directory (folder) titled Wallpaper in the C:/System folder. Copy the file to that folder and then go to System - Preferences and choose to show wallpaper in all views and select your wallpaper from the supplied drop down list.

There is also an excellent freeware windows and linux app called XnView that can save to the Psion .mbm format if you do not want to pay for nConvert....

Take a look at PsiWallpaper from www.pocketiq.com

There is some explination there plus a free program that can change the image automatically.
