Hello, all. Can anyone recommend, or does anyone know of, a hack or desk accesssory which allows the user to enter an appointment into the datebook db from within another application? I have tried Bozidar Benc's PopUp FreeTime-- I love the rest of his stuff, but I don't like PopUp FreeTime's interface at all. I'd like to be able to enter the date, time, and text all from one screen; Benc's hack, while otherwise excellent, adds a step (the weekview) that I just don't need. Can anyone suggest a hack or DA which will run under OS 3.1 or below?

Thanks in advance,
Marv

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but there is a program called Slap that does this from memo pad;

Thanks, Pman, but I've tried Slap and it needs work. Over and over, I would enter date and time data exactly as the documentation instructed (sometimes even EXACTLY COPYING examples given in the docs, to make sure I understood), and Slap's parser would get the dates & times wrong. By the time I was finished correcting Slap's mistakes, I could've entered two or three appointments in the standard datebook. Besides, I'm looking for something which doesn't require me to leave the application I'm running in order to enter an appointment-- I'd like a hack or desk accessory which will pop up over the currently-running application and let me do my appointment thing, then get back to work directly.

Thanks for the suggestion, though. ;)
