Let me start by saying I know NOTHING about Visors. I just purchased a brand new purple Visor Neo on eBay for my boss who is technologically challenged and her old Visor bit the dust (a plain grey case probably with 2mb) & I thought I'd just get a replacement for her to use in the meantime til we figure out what her next "real" pda should be.

Supposedly this Visor Neo has 8mb of RAM yet I can find nowhere in the visor prefs that tells me this. The Springboard slot is empty & I have a hard time believing this has 8mb. I have spent most of the day trying to get the PDA hotsynched to the Windows XP laptop she uses (the same one her old visor synched with). I had to create a new user because I would select the existing user but it seemed to know this new Visor was not that user profile?? Anyway, setup a new user profile, imported all of her data into that profile, hotsynched & all seemed to be going well BUT I received an error on the handspring that the data did not all transfer & I needed to check the log. I did & the log said I may have run out of memory & to remove some items. It seemed to randomly pull in some calendar data, very little, and it copied over none of the addresses or to-dos (though the log said it was done). Really about 3k of data was actually transferred. This Visor has nothing but the "out-of-the-box" apps. It was not used by the seller - he won it at some company function & tossed it in the closet - brand new. What the heck do I do with this thing to get it synched & how do I knwo how much memory I have? I cannot have 8mb - it's impossible. & if not, even 2mb should hold a calander and address book I would think.

Help.....
