Hello all. I have an application in which different users are responsible for hotsyncing a single barcode scanner. I am running XP Pro, and each of them has a different login. How can I install Palm Desktop or Hotsync Manager once, and allow for all users to be able to sync? The problem lies in that I never know if there will be new users. I heard somewhere that HotSync Manager v6 allows for this, but I can't seem to find out where to obtain this. I installed the Palm SDK to try to get it but not sure where it is or how to install it.

Thanks in advance,

Parallon

This may sound like a dumb question, but do you need the information seprated for each user or do you just need the imformation reguardless of the login id?

Well, how can I explain this. We have a web-based application, and the functionality of the Palm is for work orders. The main application will download .txt files which get sent to the palm, and when done, the palm will then sync them back to a .txt file on the desktop and clear the Palm database. From there, we use a module in the application to upload them back to the system. So, I guess to answer your question, there is no personally unique information being transmitted, and no matter who uses the palm, they will just get the current work order information.

Hope this helps,
