application categories not saved with HotSync

I installed some downloaded applications on my m100. Then I made some new categories for them, then put them into my categories. All is fine until I HotSync, and then the applications go back to Unfiled. Is this a known bug/feature, or is there a way to keep my applications where I want them?

Check your System conduit in the HotSync Manager (right-click the HotSync icon in your "system tray," click Custom, then scroll down the list and click on System) and make sure it's set to Handheld overwrites Desktop. Set that as the default.
