I have a lightly used Zire 71 that was working fine when my wife quit using it.
I got it out of the drawer a few days ago and hooked the cradle up. After charging it overnight it started to go thru the setup procedure but....
the screen no longer will accept any taps from the stylus even the hot keys seem dead. Ive done numerous soft resets, hard resets, a few resets while it was on the cradle all to no avail. I did get to the timezone screen at one point but it came up with an error that "the battery was to low to perform this function".
I would hate to buy a battery if there is a bigger problem. Any one have any ideas or suggestions?
