Deleting multiple email messages

Can you delete multiple email messages in the provided "Mail" program without opening them individually?

If not, is there an add-on that will allow me to do this?

Or is there a totally different Palm mail application that will allow me to do this?

I get about 50-60 emails per day, and I don't want to delete that many emails one-at-a-time.

Go into your email options and check unread only, this way when you hotsync your pda will update only unread and purge everything else.
