Palm V power button?

Hi there, my palm V's getting a bit old these days and they power (on/off) button has started to go, it takes about 4 presses of the button b4 the thing decides to turn on!!! This is starting to be a pain!! Does anyone know what I can do?

P.S I also gan replace and repair it ( I would need to change The motherboard I could do it for $50 and give you a Hardcase) It would upgrade it to 8 megs If it is a Palm V
