Multi Contacts When Syncing w/ Outlook

After syncing the Zire 71 with Outlook 2003 on a Windows XP Professional machine using Chappura PocketMirroring.

When I sync my Zire 71 with Outlook it seems to complete without error, however there are multiple contact entries for some contact items. This is not for every contact items just some. The multiple copies are on both sides.

I have not been able to figure out the reason for the multi-entries. There is not an obvious common thread between all duplicated items.

Any thoughts?

I have screenshots of the versions of all the software available upon request. However, I would need to e-mail them to you due to the fact that I cannot insert them into this thread.

Hello Dennis,

Paul from Palm here. I don't use Outlook myself, but there is a Palm Knowledge Library article that may be of assistance to you. "There are duplicate records on the device" (http://www.palmone.com/cgi-bin/cso_kbURL.cgi?ID=28466) offers some explanations as to why duplicates are occurring, as well as some suggestions on how to resolve the issue. Also, if you type "duplicates" into the search box at the top of that article you will find two more articles that relate to the issue at the top of the results list. Hope that's of some help.
