Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance. AnswerDude 12-03-2002, 09:35 PM PIE do support limited javascript, and there is no plugin to improve its javascript capability. What type of specific problem do you have? Perhaps there's another way to work around if we have more information. treycranson 12-04-2002, 08:33 AM AnswerDude, Do you have any links to reference how much JavaScript can be used by pIE? I'm a web developer and I was curious if anyone has documented, what can and cannot be done. AnswerDude 12-04-2002, 09:20 AM Start here: http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/developer/technicalarticles/pie_dev.asp And the links at the bottom of the pages are also helpful. PowerPPC 12-04-2002, 11:25 AM Thanks for the reply. My specific problem was trying to login to T-Mobile Hotspot and it keeps on giving me javascript error line 1 and 5. I forgot the exact error line. But anyway, it won't let me login due to the matter. But it's not only for T-Mobile hotspot, some websites gave me error as well. I downloaded a Regking, similar to Tweak2k2 to enable javascript error to display. Without it, I won't be able to see what the error was. And also, making the PIE to 5.5 with the Regking, allows me to go to more websites, like secure site that only allows 4.0 and higher. Thanks again for the reply. I'm still looking for an answer. I'm sure somebody out there did it. reffu 08-22-2006, 11:28 AM To go along with what your saying pIE doesn't have enough javascript capabilities to send or delete mail in yahoo. I tried using netfront which has better javascript capabilites but doesn't support macromedia flash player. If someone canfind an answer to your problem maybe they can find one to mine. AnswerDude 08-22-2006, 12:31 PM Another 3rd party browser to try is Opera (no Flash support) http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/products/winmobileppc/ By the way, NetFront does have built-in Flash support, however with limited performances.
